  1. I love this idea. What motivational strategies do you plan to use? Will they be taught school wide, in core classes or elective classes?

    1. Megan, I have a few strategies that I have already researched and think I will use, but since I have not finished my research on the topic, I am not 100% sure about the exact strategies I will use. The strategies will be taught school wide since we are a primary school.

  2. I think this is a great topic. Attendance is such an important issue. What kind of motivational strategies are you planning on using? Are you researching different ones?

    1. Thank you! I think attendance is a great topic as well. I am not 100% sure on the strategies that I am using yet. I plan on researching online and asking surrounding districts what strategies that they implement. I am excited about the different attendance strategies that I will become aware of through this project!

    1. My school is a Title I school that has approximately 470 Pre-K through 2nd grade students in attendance.

  5. Great plan Mary! Motivating students and parents is alway a difficult task. I am looking forward to seeing the strategies that you implement. My school is also a title one school peek - 5th, we use PBIS for behavior in the school. Please take a look at my action research :o)
